Yi Le is a summer student at Winright Law and has recently completed her first year of law school at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law.
Yi Le graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of British Columbia in 2017, where she studied English Honours and minored in German Studies. She was a member of Golden Key International Honours Society for ranking in the top 15% of her faculty and won second place in the annual UBC Arts One essay contest during her first year of undergraduate studies.
Yi Le has previously volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, West End-Coal Harbour Community Policing Centre, the Writer’s Exchange, and the Burnaby Village Museum.
In her spare time, Yi Le enjoys reading classic novels, writing fiction, and watching TVB dramas.
She is fluent in English and Shanghainese, and conversational in Mandarin and Cantonese.
