Doug WallsDirector, Finance and Operations

Doug holds a BA in Economics and has spent his career working with small and mid-sized businesses in the area of business management, finance, strategic planning and operations. He has 30 years experience in business acquisitions, funding and both expansion and cost containment. He has also spent 20 years working as a volunteer to non-profit organizations with a focus on funding programs and internal financial management.

Over the past decade, Doug has specialized in working with professional practices including day-to-day operational support and financial oversight. He has worked with dozens of professionals assisting them in starting and growing their own businesses.

Two years ago Doug was introduced to Winright by their Chartered Accountants’ firm and began working with Winston to refine operations and restructure and expand the company’s finances to accommodate the rapid growth of the practice. After accepting an offer to join the company full-time, Doug joined the Winright team in the latter half of 2019. Doug and his wife Sharon make their home in Tsawwassen.
