As a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia with a B.A. in English Literature, Summer is now preparing for her GRE exam in hope of gaining admission to a Master of Science in Management program.

In addition to being a part of Winright’s business development and marketing team, Summer has strong intercultural interests. She studied in Hong Kong last fall, introduced an Asian tech startup to North America, volunteered as an educator and conservationist in South Africa, holds a position as a UBC Global Ambassador, speaks fluent French, and is in the early stages of learning Mandarin.

Summer’s favorite thing about working at Winright is the firm’s collective, team-based approach to problem solving. Summer values this form of collaboration because it gives her a comprehensive understanding of new concepts while still allowing her to feel comfortable with sharing her ideas.

During her free time, you can find Summer cuddling with her dog Kona, training for her next half-marathon, wearing cozy over-sized hoodies, or trying not to fall off her surfboard.
